This is what you will do

As a Financial Controller, you will have a varied and responsible role within an ambitious and internationally operating company. You will work closely with two colleagues in the finance team and report directly to the CFO, with whom you will regularly discuss financial issues and strategic improvements.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind reliable figures and clear reports. You will ensure that monthly reports are prepared correctly and on time, and you will make an important contribution to the preparation of the annual accounts. You will analyze financial data, identify opportunities and risks, and actively contribute ideas on how to improve and optimize processes.

You combine control with operational activities within financial administration and closely monitor period closings and deadlines. In addition, you provide support for various reports, analyses, and ad hoc issues. You are also a committed colleague who supports the financial team in its daily activities and works closely with other departments within the organization.

You work independently and approach your work in a systematic manner, with an eye for detail and a high degree of precision and accuracy. Thanks to your analytical skills, you provide valuable advice, both when asked and on your own initiative, and you quickly get to the heart of the matter. You have a real hands-on mentality, think in terms of solutions, and don't get easily discouraged. With your strong organizational skills, you always maintain an overview and ensure that everything runs smoothly and in a structured manner. What you bring to the table:

  • You have completed a higher professional education program, preferably in Finance, Business Economics, or a similar field.
  • You have several years of relevant work experience as a controller;
  • You have experience with accounting and/or ERP systems and are highly proficient in Excel;
  • Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage;
  • Strong communication and writing skills in both Dutch and English.
