Product support: Ovi Humidifier

In the upper part of the humidifier, there is a small fan that emits mist. The dripping sound is caused by the ultrasonic component, which gently moves the water droplets upward.

You don't have to aim at anything. Ovi uses evaporation. Evaporative humidifiers humidify without visible mist.

We would like to ask you to check the following:

– Has the water been refreshed? Replace the water in the reservoir daily with fresh water.

– Is the filter dry or at the end of its lifespan? Please refer to “Weekly maintenance” (chapter 4) in the Ovi manual and/or replace the filter.

Refilling water is required. Fill water from the top of the unit.

We would like to ask you to check the following:
- Is the plug fully inserted into the socket?
- Is there a power failure?
- Has the water tank been replaced correctly? If the reservoir has not been inserted correctly, the appliance may not be able to be switched on.

Ovi uses a fan. This rotates continuously when the device is switched on and can therefore make noise.

Replace the water in the water tank every day with fresh water. Lime scale or dirt in the water can promote the growth of bacteria or mould, which can lead to unpleasant odours and health problems. We also recommend cleaning your appliance every month. How to do this is explained here.

Depending on the hardness and amount of lime in the tap water, we recommend changing the filter every 3 to 6 months. After this period, the filter will lose its effectiveness in terms of water absorption, lime removal and bacterial filtration.

Please check the following first:
- Has the water been changed? Replace the water in the tank every day with fresh water.
- Is the filter dry or at the end of its life? Please refer to "Weekly Maintenance" (chapter 4) in the Ovi manual and/or replace the filter.
