If you have suffered damage to your home, we advise you to first report this to your own home insurance provider or, if you live in a rental property, to the landlord of your home.

Home insurance often provides coverage based on the actual repair costs or the costs required to restore the property to its previous condition.

Contents insurance often provides coverage based on the replacement value of the damaged items.

If you are not insured for the damage incurred, please let us know so that we can look for a solution. If Duux BV is liable for the damage and its liability insurance needs to be invoked, compensation will be paid in accordance with the law.

The law states that liability must then be settled on the basis of current value or that a deduction must be made for depreciation. In many cases, this results in a less favorable financial outcome than if you are insured yourself.
