Have you suffered damage to your home or contents from a Duux product?

It is unfortunate that you have suffered damage to your home or contents. Of course, we will be happy to look at the options for resolving this with you.

If you have sustained damage to your home, we recommend that you report it first on your own home insurance policy or, if you have a rental property, to the landlord of your property.

In fact, a home insurance policy in many cases has coverage based on actual repair costs or the cost of returning it to the condition it was in.

In many cases, contents insurance then has coverage based on the new-for-old value of the damaged items.

Should you not be insured for the damages incurred, we would be pleased to hear from you in order to find a solution. If Duux BV should be liable for the damage and its liability insurance needs to be addressed, it will make a compensation on the basis of the law.

The law then states that liability must be settled on the basis of market value or that a deduction must be made for depreciation. In many cases, this often works out worse financially than if you were self-insured.
