This odor is caused by the heating element when the heater is first used. This is normal and gradually decreases during use.

Yes! Thanks to its IP24 rating, the Edge is splash-proof and can even be used in the bathroom.

Check that the power button on the back of the product is set to "On. If Edge still does not turn on, please contact our customer service department.

Edge can display different error codes. The different error codes are explained below:

- E0: The NTC is disconnected. Contact the shop/webshop where you bought the appliance for an exchange.
- E1: The NTC has shorted. Please contact the shop where you purchased the unit to have it exchanged.
- E2: The tilt switch has tripped. Disconnect the product from the power source. Place the product upright on a stable and flat surface. Connect the product to the power source.

The OPEN message means the Edge has detected a sudden drop in temperature. To save energy, the product temporarily stops heating automatically.

If the temperature drops by about 5 degrees within 10 minutes, the product assumes that a window or door is open. Press any button within 1 minute to keep the current settings. If you do not, the Edge will switch to standby.

Switch the Edge off first. Then press and hold the Wi-Fi button for about 5 seconds to start pairing mode.

You can then connect the Edge in the Duux app.
