Your Role

As a Financial Controller, you will take on a versatile and responsible role within an ambitious, internationally operating organization. You will work closely with two colleagues in the finance team and report directly to the CFO, with whom you will regularly discuss financial performance and strategic improvements.

In this role, you are the driving force behind reliable financial data and clear reporting. You ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly reports and contribute significantly to the preparation of the annual accounts. By analyzing financial data, you identify risks and opportunities and actively propose improvements to optimize financial processes.

You combine financial control with hands-on operational activities within the financial administration. You closely monitor period closings and deadlines and support the organization with reports, analyses, and ad-hoc financial matters. In addition, you collaborate closely with other departments and contribute to strengthening the finance function across the organization.

About You

You are an independent professional who works in a structured and accurate way, with strong attention to detail. You thrive in a dynamic organization, connect easily with colleagues, and contribute to a positive working environment.

Your analytical skills allow you to translate financial data into meaningful insights and practical advice. You have a hands-on mindset, think in solutions, and remain focused under pressure. Thanks to your strong organizational skills, you maintain overview and ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently. You bring:

• A completed HBO degree, preferably in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field
  
• Several years of relevant experience as a Financial Controller
  
• Experience with accounting and/or ERP systems
  
• Strong Excel skills
  
• Knowledge of Power BI (preferred)
  
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
