1. Distributes heat
By placing a fan in the heat stream of your heater, warm air is distributed throughout theroom more efficiently and quickly. As a result, the room temperature feels comfortable sooner and you need to heat for a shorter time. To achieve this, set the fan to the lowest setting and preferably point it towards the ceiling for optimal air circulation!
2. Increase the humidity
The perceived temperature is greatly influenced by humidity. If the air contains little water vapor, the human body loses heat more quickly – as a result, the perceived temperature can feel colder than it actually is.
Example: 19°C feels like 17°C at a humidity of 10-20%, whereas at a humidity of 50% it feels like 19°C.

3. Turn the knob
By taking a critical look at the rooms and times you heat, you can avoid a lot of unnecessary energy costs. Did you know, for example, that a lower temperature in the bedroom actually has a positive effect on your sleep? At a lower temperature, melatonin production is stimulated, meaning the optimal temperature for your bedroom lies between 15°C and 18°C.
Are there other rooms you rarely visit? Then switch off the central heating in those areas.
