Recently purchased a Edge 2000 for some extra heat in the bay window. heater is nice to look at and made of solid material. I use the manual control so can't give an opinion on the app. Am planning to purchase another one to be able to put it in other places in the house where I don't have the central heating on for the reason that it clearly consumes more energy than this heater.

We have two Edge 2000. One of them works perfectly but the other one stops after 5 min of heating despite the temperature in the room is much lower than asked for. Can the thermostat be "re-set"? It's been like this since the beginning.

I have the Edge 2000 in use for almost a month and from the beginning I can't manage to create the right temperature. When I fill in a schedule, the heater One day it is on, the next it is not. Stall ditto. On some days, he also determines the set temperature himself. Basically, I spend pretty much the whole day controlling the temperature. When it's a bit colder outside, I have to heater I want to put a room of about 28 m2 at 26 degrees from 17 degrees to 19 degrees, this takes 3, 4 hours. I bought 3 extra thermometers to measure the temperature in different places because what I set on the Duux is not what the actual temperature is. Of course I contacted customer service but I got an email back that didn't match my problem at all. After I called back to report this, I was promised that I would be called back, unfortunately this did not happen. I do believe that it can be a fantastic asset but I have the idea that my copy has a malfunction, it is such a hassle this way, I can't imagine that this is the intention.

I have been using the heater for a few weeks now and heating without ECO mode is really fast. ECO mode is a little slower.
The smart function is fine and can work with schedules and remote control. Once you are completely off the power you have to reconnect the Wi-Fi. This then does not work completely flawlessly.
The integration with Google does not exist, they are working on it. The sticker on the heater is a bit misleading because the integration does not exist yet.
All in all, a good heater with some points to update.

Fine heater, quiet and powerful. Easy to use app where you can read the current temperature and set the desired temperature. We have the Edge 2000 as additional heating in the living room to reduce gas consumption. This works well with the Duux 360, which also gives off a lot of heat, but produces a lot of noise because of its fan. By using the 'Duuxen' you can heat up the living room a few degrees, after which the boiler takes over. The Edge and 360 remain active in the background to raise the temperature, when necessary, until the boiler picks it up again. In this way you can combine gas and electricity to save on your energy costs. It's quite a puzzle, especially since the energy ceiling will come into effect on January 1, which means you have to use as much as possible of the 1200 m3 of gas and 2900 kW of electricity, and preferably make sure you stay within that. Therefore it is nice that everything can be controlled with your foon, although I need a different app for the edge ne the 360. But that is being worked on at Duux. In short, if you want good heating, good customer service, and have a little more to spare for a beautiful design, Duux is definitely the way to go.

Pros: Electric heater with a nice design and stands firmly on its legs. Also very convenient the remote control and/or control via the app.
Minuses
- Too bad that you need a different app for the heater than for the DUUX fan and that in the app the schedule is not yet functional.
- Another pity is that there is no quiet fan mounted in the heater , as quiet as a DUUX fan. The heat limits visibility quite round the heater and could be used more efficiently in the room.

Hi Peter, thank you very much for your review! Starting this fall, our electric heaters come with a new WiFi module that is only compatible with the Duux (2022) app. Unfortunately, if your product was purchased earlier this year, it indeed does not yet contain a new WiFi module and is therefore not compatible with the Duux (2022) app. The functionalities of the app will all be added this week we are busy with the final touches! We will definitely take your feedback on board!

Noiseless. Gives off heat very quickly. Operation with app is ideal. Very suitable for individual heating of separate rooms (kitchen, study, bathroom, guest room). We now have two Edges and are considering buying a third. (Electricity is relatively cheap for us, due to overproduction of our solar panels).

With the latest update of the app, it is also possible to connect the device via bluetooth. With this it doesn't matter anymore if your network is on 2.4 or something else.
