You don't have to do this, but it is recommended. Your battery will last longer than if you always leave it in while it is plugged in.

That may be true. The fan is in standby mode, so to speak, which means that the battery will run out at some point, even though it is not being used.
Can the battery of Whisper Flex also be used in Whisper Flex Ultimate and vice versa?
This is certainly possible. There are 2 variants (4,400 mAh and 6,300 mAh) that fit into both fans.
