Unit works well in a small attic room. Picked this air conditioner because it was said to make the least amount of noise. And although it is certainly not silent, I suspect it is much quieter than any other air conditioner. The disadvantage is that the water collection tray is relatively small and difficult to empty because the outlet is almost on the ground, making it difficult to place a drip tray underneath. Also, this has to be emptied several times a week.

Even though this is there smallest unit at 9k, it still weighs 32kg and difficult to transport. The outlet pipes for water and hot air are cheap and don't bend easily. The water outlet pipe can pop out when exchanging your water bucket (which fills up quickly even after only a few hours). Hot air escapes where the hot air pipe connects. Regarding cooling, it only manages to reduce the air by 4-5 degrees and never manages to cool the room sufficiently (even though my room is small.) The WiFi doesn't connect no matter which 2,4Ghz or 5Ghz or app you use (they have 2 Apps and both are useless). Its clear they never actually tested this device in real world conditions before releasing it into production. i feel disappointed and cheated. Returning this heavy machine is a nightmare.

I'm sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the product! How often you need to empty the unit also depends very much on the humidity. If this is high, you may need to empty it more often than usual. The device can indeed also only connect to a 2.4 Ghz network, for this you can create a guest network that works only on 2.4.
